MediaTek just announce the new flagship chipset the Dimensity 9000 5G, which is build on 4nm process by TSMC, this mean power efficiency and improve performance. The new chipset it is a 8 core, 1 core @, 3 cores @ and 4 efficiency cores Cortex A510@ 1.8Ghz, the GPU is Mali-G710 GPU with 10-cores, variable rate shading technology and first raytracing SDK using Vulkan for Android, video decoder up to 8K@30fps AV1/VP9/H.265/H.264 and video encoder 8K@24fps H.265/H.264
The SoC can support LPDDR5x RAM up to 7500Mbps, 8MB L3 Cache, display can go up to 144Hz WQHD+ or 180Hz FullHD+ via MiraVision 790. Dimensity 9000 5G is the first that use Bluetooth 5.3, Bluetooth Audio LE-ready with “Dual-Link True Wireless Stereo Audio, Wi-Fi 6E 2x2, 5G modem with 3GPP Release-16 standard, the modem supports sub-6Ghz 5G speeds of 7Gbps download with 3CC Carrier Aggregation (300Mhz). Dual sim Dual 4G/5G Active (DR-DSDA). Camera can go up to 320MP Primary Camera, or 3 cameras 32MP+32MP+32MP, 4K 3 exp Video HDR.
MediaTek Dimensity 9000 5G will be running on smartphones starting Q1 2022.
