USB Implementers Forum (USB) has announce a new power rating logo and charging rating, the new logo is base on USB4 & USB USB Power Delivery with Type-C specifications.
The new charging standard USB PD 3.1 is at 60W and can go up to 240W but only if the new logo is printed on the cable. USB4 cables support 20Gbps or 40Gbps speeds with the new logo, but also show the charging speed
All of this new logos will be show on the certified cables, chargers, and their packaging, will be easy for users to see the charging rate and the speed of the cable. If you don't see the logo on the cable it means that is NOT certified by USB-IF for that speed/charging
The new logos will be available this winter.
